Varmints beware! The Marlin Model 917VS bolt-action repeater chambers Hornady's hot 17 Magnum Rimfire cartridge, at a muzzle velocity of 2,500 fps, the fastest rimfire round ever. It fires a high-performance 17-grain V-MAX boat-tail jacketed bullet. This clip-fed rifle features a heavy 22"
stainless 17 caliber barrel. The handsome gray/black hardwood laminate Monte Carlo stock is stable in the worst of weather, and comes complete with nickel-plated sling swivel studs. Comes with both a 4-shot and a 7-shot clip magazine.
